Lake Placid Inn really impressed me. The location was fantastic, right near everything I wanted to explore. The room was clean and comfortable, with a cozy bed that made for great nights. I appreciated the kitchen being well-equipped with most essentials. The outdoor area, especially the fire pit by the lake, added a nice touch for relaxing evenings. However, check-in felt a bit unorganized. I had trouble finding the key retrieval place, and it wasn't very well lit near the door. Also, the couch cushions showed some wear, looking like they needed a deep clean. A few more kitchen utensils would have been useful too. Chuck and Lisa made me feel right at home!
